My wife and I have had 3 homes built from scratch and a number of major home and yard renovations and projects completed over the past 25 years… you could say WE’RE EXPERIENCED HOMEOWNERS… and I can honestly say, our experience with Western Pavers was the best we’ve ever had… from start to finish.
Our backyard project entailed the demolition and removal of a large concrete patio and the adjacent concrete sidewalks… AND… the tearing up and removal of a large lawn and underlying sprinkler system… AND THEN… extending out the previous hard-scape area with pavers and a gas firepit… AS WELL AS… extending the existing soft-scape area by adding a number of trees and plantings along with an area of high-end artificial turf… AND… the entire project had to flow seamlessly with the existing backyard features and soft-scape design and plantings. Western Pavers used the highest quality materials and craftsmanship to ensure the project turned out as designed… the yard was graded to perfection, quality soil & mulch were liberally used, all the trees and plants were sizable and healthy and properly dug-down and secured, the artificial turf was cut, rolled, and secured perfectly, and all the pavers and stone work laid and secured with great craftsmanship… and, in addition, a thorough new drip system and strategically located low voltage lighting system placed throughout.
Needless to say, my wife and I are thrilled with the end result. Everyone we dealt with at Western Pavers along the way was professional, punctual, and personal. In particular, the SUPERINTENDENT Jesus Herrara was THE BEST… he was the most competent and caring superintendent we could have ever asked for. My wife and I were concerned there might be something lost in the translation and transition from DESIGNER of the project to SUPERINTENDENT of the project but Jesus walked in on day one of the project with a complete understanding of the entire project… and from memory, not notes or plans in hand. He immediately put to rest any concerns my wife and I had and gave us a real sense of assurance we were in good hands. Jesus oversaw the entire project, along with his foreman Jose Ortiz, and coordinated the timely and accurate completion of the project and handled all additions and particulars my wife and I brought to his attention to our complete satisfaction along the way… Jesus even provided us with some ideas we incorporated as they made sense and improved upon our vision of the project. And, I’d be remiss if I did not thank the entire crew who were all great, courteous, hard-working and just as accommodating.
I could not more highly recommend using Western Pavers… and Jesus Herrera, Jose Ortiz, and the whole crew we had!
