TIPS & TACTICS FOR NO-CONTACT VIRTUAL SELLING
In order to safely conduct business under social distancing protocols, hardscape contractors must learn how to sell projects virtually, which eliminates physical contact with homeowners. The steps below outline the virtual sales process, offer best practices tips, and provide graphic icons that you can use on your company website to promote your virtual sales policy. For more details on each step, watch the webinar video provided.

INITIAL REMOTE CONSULTATION
Use a teleconferencing platform to virtually meet with the client, walk the property together and discuss the project in detail. Platform examples include FaceTime (iOS only) and Skype.

SUBMIT A BDS DESIGN REQUEST
Schedule a time when you can physically enter the property alone to take needed measurements and photos. Using the HOVER app, take photos of the home from the angles requested within the app, then submit a design request to the Belgard Design Studio.

REMOTE PRESENTATION
Use a teleconferencing platform that allows you to share your device screen. Platform examples include Zoom, GoToMeeting and Skype. Open the BDS designs on your device, share your screen, and talk the homeowner through the design like you would in person. Play the provided flythrough animation or scrollable 360-degree Virtual Reality view to give the homeowner a virtual tour of their future space.

FINALIZE BID, OFFER FINANCING
Once the project details have been finalized, present your final bid. Belgard Authorized Contractors can offer homeowners a way to build now and pay later with the Belgard Preferred Payment financing program. BPP financing options have been proven to help close sales and increase project scope. The easy online application process makes it a key component of the virtual sales process.
