• Oldcastle APG is not responsible for entries not received due to lost, failed, delayed or interrupted connections or miscommunications, or other electronic malfunctions. Oldcastle APG is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information, whether caused by persons entered on the website or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the contest, or by any human error, which may occur in the processing of the entries in this contest.
• By entering, participants release and hold harmless Oldcastle APG and its affiliates as well as any directors, officers, and employees of those organizations from any and all liability for any claims, injuries, loss, or damage of any kind arising from or in connection with the contest to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.
• If, for any reason, the contest is not capable of being conducted as planned, including any causes beyond the control of the administrators, Oldcastle APG reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, modify, suspend, or terminate the contest without notice to the entrants.
• Entry into the photography contest does not create any vested right or interest for the participants in the prizes offered for the contest.
• These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the US state or Canadian province in which the person making the contest submission resides.

Program Structure

• ·Program will start May 1, 2026 at 12:00 am EST and end October 31, 2026.at 11:59 pm EST.
• A program month is defined as the 1st day of a month until the last day of the same month.
• Any eligible submission received during a program month is eligible to win.
• Any submission that does not win during a program month may be resubmitted for consideration in another program month provided the submission meets all requirements of an eligible submission.
• Program will be active in 6 designated regions across the US and Western Canada. The regions are defined as follows:
• Southeast – AL, FL, GA, KY, MS, NC, SC, TN
• North Central – AR, IL, IN, IA, KS, MN, MO, NE, ND, OH, SD
• Northeast – CT, DE, ME, MD, MA, NH, NJ, NY, PA, RI, VT, VA, Wash DC
• South Central – LA, OK, TX
• Mountain West – AZ, CO, ID, NM, UT, WY
• West – AK, CA, HI, MT, NV, OR, WA, Canada – AB, BC, MB, SK
• One monthly winner per region will be selected, for a total of 6 monthly winners per region.
• One regional HARDSCAPE HERO of the Year (HHOY) finalist per region will be selected from the 6 monthly winners per region.
• One national HHOY winner will be selected from the 6 regional HHOY finalists.
• All monthly winners and regional HHOY finalists will be selected by judging panels established at a regional level.
• National HHOY winner will be selected by a judging panel established at a national level.

Eligible Submission

• The Program is open to Belgard Contractors in good standing with Oldcastle APG.
• Only residential projects using Belgard products are eligible for submission.
• Only projects completed within the 12 months prior to the date of the submission month will be considered.
• Any eligible submission may only be entered using the online HARDSCAPE HERO submission platform.
• An entry form for each eligible submission must be fully completed and a minimum of one photo included.
• Contractor must have received permission from the homeowner to submit their completed project to the contest.
• All submission details and photos received become the property of Oldcastle APG and can be used to advertise Oldcastle APG products and programs.
• Information, photos, and videos collected in this submission form will only be collected, used, disclosed and maintained by Oldcastle APG for purposes of administering and promoting the HARDSCAPE HERO program, including to announce winners on its website and social media platforms.

Judging

• All judging panels, judging methods, and judging decisions will be decided by Oldcastle APG, in its sole discretion. Oldcastle APG reserves the right to disqualify submissions that do not comply with eligibility requirements or other program rules. Each contest region will establish a judging panel to select their monthly program winners from the eligible submissions for that region received each program month.
• All regional monthly program winners will be eligible to become their respective regional HHOY finalist.
• Each regional HHOY finalist will be eligible to become the national HHOY winner.
• Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
• Product integrations
• Use of colors and/or patterns
• Usage of space
• Terrain leveling difficulties
• Overall project design
• The foregoing criteria will be evaluated holistically by the applicable judging panel. No single criterion is determinative, and judging decisions are final.
• All submissions will be judged anonymously.

Winner Notification

• All monthly program winners will be notified by email on or about the 15th of the month following the close of the preceding program month (i.e. May’s winner will be announced on or about June 15).
• The selected monthly winner will be notified by their Belgard Sales Representative
• Regional HHOY finalists will be notified during the month of November by their Belgard Sales Representative.
• National HHOY winner will be notified during the month of December by their Belgard Sales Representative.

Prizes

• Monthly program winners will receive a prize valued at approximately US $800. The selection of the prize is at the sole discretion of Oldcastle APG.
• Regional HHOY finalists will receive a prize valued at approximately US $2,800. The selection of the prize is at the sole discretion of Oldcastle APG.
• National HHOY winner will receive a prize valued at approximately US $6,250. The selection of the prize is at the sole discretion of Oldcastle APG.
• Oldcastle APG may substitute prizes of equal or greater value.
• All taxes owed on any prizes won are the responsibility of the winner. Oldcastle APG reserves the right to issue any tax reporting documents required by applicable law.
• Odds of winning the monthly regional contests will vary depending on the number of submissions received at the regional level.
• Odds of winning the regional HHOY contest is 1 in 6 per region.
• Odds of winning the national HHOY is 1 in 6 if you are named a regional HHOY finalist.
• Winners are not selected at random but by a judging panel based on criteria and processes outlined in this document.

Release Form

• I represent that I have complied with all program terms and conditions. I represent that I have all permissions and rights in the submitted information and images necessary to grant the following release. If the submitting person is a business entity, I represent that I am an officer, director, or an agent of that entity authorized to grant the following release, that the release is made both on behalf of myself as an individual and on behalf of the entity, and that the release is binding on the entity.
• I hereby grant Oldcastle APG permission to use my likeness and the likeness of all individuals pictured, as well as their personal and/or business names and other images I have submitted, in any and all media without payment or any other consideration in perpetuity.
• I hereby irrevocably authorize Oldcastle APG to edit, alter, copy, exhibit, publish or distribute any photos for purposes of publicizing Oldcastle APG programs or for any other lawful purpose.
• In addition, I waive the right to inspect or approve the finished product, including written or electronic copy, wherein my likeness or the likeness of any other individual appears. Additionally, I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the photograph(s). I hereby hold harmless and release and forever discharge Oldcastle APG from all claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, executors, administrators, the entity I represent, any agents thereof or any other persons acting on my behalf, on behalf of my estate, or on behalf of the entity I represent have or may have by reason of this authorization.
