Belgard is putting a significant public relations and marketing effort behind two national summer events. Stretch your marketing dollars and take advantage of the national exposure by piggy-backing on these promotions in your local markets.
Both promotions will be backed by national public relations outreach to consumer publications and broadcast outlets. Inhouse marketing efforts will also be done through Belgard.com, the Outdoor Living by Belgard blog, the Outdoor Living by Belgard newsletter, and Belgard social media (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest and YouTube). Marketing materials are also available in the Belgard Marketing Agency for local use by members of the Belgard Contractor Program.

July is “National Grilling Month.” Plus, more people are spending time at home this summer. Now is the perfect time to promote outdoor kitchens and grill islands. To prepare for this promotion, Belgard beefed up our Outdoor Kitchens and Outdoor Grill Islands Pinterest boards and is sending traffic to those boards by promoting them to the nearly 100,000 subscribers of our monthly Outdoor Living by Belgard newsletter. We are also doing cross-promotional activity with contest partner Omaha Steaks® to leverage their audience and national presence. Belgard will once again utilize the emotional appeal of fire features by asking newsletter and blog readers to submit their favorite fireside memories and s’mores recipes for our annual National S’mores Day promotion. The promotion will center on the Weston Stone™ Fire Pit Kit tied in with this year’s S’mores Day Giveaway prize package. We will also take advantage of this marketing opportunity to promote all Belgard fire pit kits and retaining wall products by focusing on fire pit and fireplace design ideas on the Outdoor Living by Belgard blog and throughout our social media.
