Belgard took the 2015 Hardscape North America tradeshow by storm on Oct. 20-22, 2015, in Louisville, Kentucky, with an exciting launch of the refreshed Belgard brand, an array of games and events, and an impressive display of 27 hardscape products.
A highlight of the tradeshow, the Belgard booth showcased the new Belgard brand and allowed booth visitors to walk through a variety of outdoor living displays and scenes, visit the all-blue candy buffet, play giant Jenga and corn-hole games, take a wacky photo booth photo, and spin the digital prize wheel for a chance at a myriad of prizes.
On the first day of the conference, Belgard kicked off the day with a press conference, during which EVP Ken O'Neill led members of the media down Belgard's 20-year company timeline. When he reached 2015, 25 performers wearing Belgard t-shirts erupted into a surprise choreographed flash-mob performance to Blue (Da Ba Dee) by Eiffel 65. Following the flash-mob performance, O'Neill concluded the company timeline with a description of the refreshed Belgard brand look and philosophy, ending with a burst of blue confetti and an appearance by the "Belgard Blue Men" in blue morph suits who handed out beads to onlookers.
On the evening of Oct. 22, Belgard concluded the HNA tradeshow with a customer-appreciation party, which was kicked off with another flash-mob performance.
