Ideas, Tips & How-To's for Outdoor Entertaining
LAST YEAR WE INSTALLED 2500 SQUARE FEET OF THE BELGARD CAMBRIDE COMBO SIERRA BLEND PAVERS IN THE FRONT PACK AND
ONE SIDE OF OUR HOUSE. WE LIVE IN THE PHOENIX AREA.
THE PROBLEM WE ARE EXPERIENCING IS THERE ARE WHITE MARKS ALL OVER THE PAVERS IN THE FRONT. WE THINK IT COULD BE FROM THE RAIN. WE WERE TOLD TO USE A SEALER; WHICH WE DID.
WHAT CAN WE DO NOW TO GET THE ORIGINAL LOOK BACK.
WE ARE VERY DISSATISFIED. THIS WAS A VERY EXPENSIVE JOB
LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU. THANKS

It sounds like you’re dealing with efflorescence. I forwarded your question to one of our in-house experts and will get back with you on a solution.
Hi, I am having installers put down Belgard Lafitt Rustica Sierra on my 1000 sq ft courtyard. I have noticed a whole lot of white spots or efflorescence going on. Do you know if the efflorescence is still there and how long does the spots take to go away?
Efflorescence is natural and should wear off on its own within a few months or possibly a year. If you want to remove it more quickly, there are efflorescence cleaners that can be purchased at most hardware stores. You may also want to consult with your contractor and local Belgard rep to come up with the best solution. For best results seal the pavers after they have been cleaned, which will protect the finish.
